The life history of our beloved perunthalaivar is a must read for every aspiring social worker, politician and government servants. The selfless dedication of kamaraji towards education is perhaps one of the greatest achievements of any politicians in post independace era in this country. Its is indeed shamefull to know that those who had been benifited through kamaraj's policies on education and noon meal scheme, are not pracising the life that this great man had led. Whats the point when one man makes so many sacrifices and those who had came up due to his sacrifices are not propogating his ideals such as simplicity, honesty and integrity. Perhaps our memories are very short lived, the society has grown very complacent and it is not caring for the sufferings of such selfless leaders. I have not seen perunthalaivar, he was long gone before i was born, but through this web site and through the king maker movie i got a glimpse of kamaraj's greatness. Today our state is run by billioners who have amassed wealth through foul and corrupt means. Not a single party have a leader who can speak with a clear conscience that he or she can form a kamaraj rule in the state. My prayers are that there should be some one who can be detatched from wealth, to run the state in a manner befitting of Kamaraji's name.
